Interactive Cooking Experience: An Evening of Connection, Conversation and Purpose

On 16 September 2026, an evening of good food, meaningful conversation and new connections brought people together for an Interactive Cooking Experience in support of Columba Leadership’s work with young people in underserved schools and communities. Hosted in partnership with Invicta Wealth Solutions, Ebury Partners SA and PIM Capital, the evening gave guests an opportunity to step away from the usual corporate environment, experience something different and learn more about Columba’s work supporting young people through values-based leadership.
More than just an evening of cooking
The experience brought people together around something simple: food. As the evening unfolded, guests had the opportunity to connect with one another, share conversations and learn more about the young people, schools and communities at the heart of Columba’s work.
Nel Schoeman of Invicta Wealth Solutions shared why supporting Columba is meaningful to the organisation:

A shared effort

Thank you also to everyone who attended and contributed to the evening, to The Cooking Kitchen for providing a wonderful setting, and to the Columba team members who worked behind the scenes to bring everything together. The evening reflected a belief at the heart of Columba’s work: that a young person’s circumstances do not have to define their future. Through values-based leadership and the right support, young people can grow into leaders who contribute meaningfully to their schools, communities and beyond.
